John Parsons visit

John Parsons came to school on Tuesday to talk to the children about people asking for their permission to take photos.  He showed a video about people helping each other and being kind and another video about using passwords and downloading on the computer. He emphasised that parents need to be aware of what their child is doing on these devices by nurturing open lines of communication and if things do go wrong use this as a teachable moment.

Children (and adults) were thoroughly entertained this afternoon by The Cats Pyjamas adaptation of Bad Jelly the witch at the Centerstage theatre in Invercargill.
